Summer 2017 Bucket List

Happy Summer 2017 everyone!

Summer is without a doubt my favorite season of the year. Newfoundland is absolutely beautiful in the summer and the sunshine and longer days do wonders for my soul.

This summer my plans are simple, I want to stay home and enjoy the little things. So to make the most of it I have created a list of goals/a bucket list for the summer to replace my normal monthly goals posts.

I will update you on my progress at the beginning of August and September.

I hope my little bucket list sends some inspiration your way and gets you out enjoying the little things.

I bet that would be fun too! I love it, I wish they had them here in the park like other places so you could set up a little picnic.

  3. Olivia | 26th Jun 17

Summer is indeed amazing, just just for great weather but also for charging up the body batteries. Excited to hear about how much of this you end up doing!

    • stephaniewp | 26th Jun 17

It is so true, summer rejuvenates me big time. If I lived in a warm climate where it was sunny all the time I would be the happiest person I am sure of it.

  4. iamemgee | 26th Jun 17

nice summer bucket list! I think i want to have that tatoo too! however, i’m scared of needles. lol!

    • stephaniewp | 26th Jun 17

I have been talking about getting one for years but I can’t settle on what to get. What would you get?

  5. I'm Not Grandpa (@ImNotGrandpa) | 26th Jun 17

Quite a list. I’m exhausted reading it. Enjoy your Summer.

Quite a list. I’m exhausted reading it. Enjoy your Summer.

    • stephaniewp | 26th Jun 17

I actually went yesterday. So I already have something I can cross off my list. haha. The water was actually freezing but after the numbness set in it was quiet refreshing 🙂

  7. Yentl | 26th Jun 17

Great list!! I also want to go swimming this summer and try something new:) I feel like it’s been a really long time since I’ve enjoyed swimming:)

  8. Elen | 26th Jun 17

My plans for the summer are pretty similar to your own – staying home but appreciating the little things around me! This list actually gave me a few ideas for what I want to explore in my hometown.

    • stephaniewp | 26th Jun 17

Wow! I bet that is the most beautiful thing. Do you have an Instagram? I would love to see some picks from that area.

  10. joyfuliowan | 26th Jun 17

I love how many of these I already do every summer. Thank you for adding so many outdoor activities!

    • stephaniewp | 26th Jun 17

Hopefully you get to do even more this year 🙂

  11. Rachel G | 27th Jun 17

Sounds like you’ll have a fun and full summer! I like the one about doing something you’ve never done before–those experiences are always so cool!

Yes I agree! It is nice to make it a point to try something new as often as you can 🙂

  12. Meghan | 27th Jun 17

  13. Whitney S. | 27th Jun 17

I plan on going to Restaurant Week and Burger week, as well as this huge 2 day food festival in August. In September about 20 of our friends are going on a trip together again (we do twice a year!)

  15. rochkirstin | 28th Jun 17

We’re now approaching the rainy season. But for summer this year, we had plenty fun traveling to destinations within the country. We went hiking, spelunking, and swimming.

    • stephaniewp | 28th Jun 17

Spelunking? I had to google it to see that is all about. So incredible! I would love to do something like that!

  16. Erica Gwynn | 28th Jun 17

Just adopting your list as my own cos it’s so comprehensive!!

  17. Jill Conyers (@jillconyers) | 29th Jun 17

Sounds like a fun summer. I don’t have a bucket list but I want be outside as often as possible.

  18. Fred | 29th Jun 17

When we say “bucket list”, we usually mean these are the things we intend to do while we are alive and kicking. How interesting that you are also using it to refer to a list of things you intend to do in a single summer. 🙂 Makes things more urgent so we will go do it and get it done. Live like each summer is the last.

    • stephaniewp | 29th Jun 17

Yes exactly! Each summer is unique to itself and ends so why not enjoy it to the fullest? Hope you have a great summer. 🙂

  19. franckxethee | 29th Jun 17

Summer is my favorite time. It’s good to work out at this times. I also take time to enjoy the mountains and the trails.

    • stephaniewp | 29th Jun 17

Sounds like fun! I wish we had mountains here 🙂

  20. Fashion Panache by Bhushavali | 29th Jun 17

Summer is technically the worst time in my part of the world with temperatures soaring to 40+ deg C. My plans are always to get out to some cool, hilly regions and sit with the air conditioner in full blast in my room and work!
Btw, best wishes for you to achieve all the 50 in your list! Looking forward to see your tattoo design.

    • stephaniewp | 29th Jun 17

Where do you live? WOW! We are lucky to reach 25 here in the summer it is always windy and a little chilly but compared to what we are used to it is lovely 🙂 Still trying to come up with the tattoo that I want 🙂 Thank you!!

  21. elizabeth o | 29th Jun 17

You have an impressive list and I’m confident you will accomplish all of them. Bucket lists are a sure way to get us going!

  22. TheGracefulMist | 2nd Jul 17

I also purging started months ago and it feels so good to let go of the things that are unnecessary and/or unwanted. What kind of books do you read? I also love to read but mostly online now since it`s affordable because it almost cost nothing but internet and electricity.

I could never really get into e-books. I have such a huge collection of books now in a wide variety. Fiction, history, reference, poetry, science, self-help. I am currently trying to get rid of a bunch to make some room in my little apartment 🙂

  23. Tiffany Yong | 3rd Jul 17

Looking forward to see how much you’ve accomplished when Summer’s over! Hope to see an update soon!

    • stephaniewp | 4th Jul 17

Thanks! I am already knocking a few off the list. Stay tuned 🙂
