Fall Self Care List

For many falls is simply the best time of the year. The world seems to transform into a crisp colorful scene in a romance novel. Or a horror flick. Whatever tickles your fancy. The business of summer fun starts to dwindle and the coziness of a slower season starts to set in.

There is a certain amount of romance that is associated with Fall. Pink cheeks and red noses. Warm blankets, thick scarfs and sweet scents.

Fall is also one of my favorite times of year to get back into a self-care mindset.

Through spending more time at home, I feel like Fall is the perfect time to begin new self-care routines and take some cozy time for myself.

It is important to keep yourself busy and inspired as the days get shorter, participate in stimulating new activities and create an at-home atmosphere that keeps you feeling content.

I hope you are able to take some time to care for yourself this fall season. Check out this huge list of Fall inspired self-care ideas to help you out!

    • stephaniewp | 25th Oct 17

Very true! there is always something new to explore 🙂

  2. GiGi Eats Celebrities | 25th Oct 17

I’d love to jump into a pile of leaves but LA doesn’t really have such experiences thanks to the weird seasons here. I mean, right now it’s 100 + degrees outside … And it’s ALMOST HALLOWEEN! Ugh! Sick of it! LOL!

    • stephaniewp | 25th Oct 17

haha that is so strange to me. It was snowing here Sunday. Crazy! Hopefully, you can find some other fall like things to do.

  3. live_a_life_less_ordinary | 25th Oct 17

Great ideas… even for someone like me, who lives in a place where there basically is no fall.

    • stephaniewp | 25th Oct 17

Oh?? Where is that? Yes lots of these can be done anywhere and anytime really 🙂

      • live_a_life_less_ordinary | 25th Oct 17

In the Sacramento and San Joaquin Valleys of California, it feeks like summer until around November 1, then within a week it suddenly turns into cool and rainy winter. (Snow here is very rare at low elevations I the valley floor)

        • stephaniewp | 25th Oct 17

Wow! I bet it is so beautiful though. You are very lucky to be able to enjoy that kind of weather. Our winters are the worst and way way too long.

          • live_a_life_less_ordinary | 25th Oct 17

That’s a good way to look at it. 🙂 The school where I work starts the school year earlier than most schools, but we have more breaks to make up for it, including a fall break the first half of October. That’s my favorite part of this schedule, because early October is perfect weather here. It’s still sunny and warm, but not blisteringly hot like July and August.

          • stephaniewp | 25th Oct 17

That sounds perfect! Are the leaves still changed this time of year? that seems like such a great place to live 🙂

          • live_a_life_less_ordinary | 25th Oct 17

Some of them, yes, but some change a little later, and some not at all.

          • stephaniewp | 25th Oct 17

            Sounds magical to me. 🙂

I love all of your ideas. On Sunday, I took some time to relax. I pulled out my adult coloring book and gel pens. I worked on a page that I started months ago that I haven’t had a chance to color in a long time. I also wanted to read but after two chapters, I decided I was way too sleepy. So I went to be early.
