Fall Feelings

We made it, here we are. Fall has arrived, crept right into our lap and cuddled up like an old cat trying to settle in and get comfy. Or something like that. I never used to be a big fan of Fall. It’s not that I didn’t like Fall, I just didn’t care either way. I guess I never really paid attention to the subtleties of routines. I spent a lot of time just doing and going and moving. The past few years I have been more aware and awake. Awake to my surroundings…

Mini Camping Trip – Gros Mourne, Newfoundland

This year we decided to take a mini-vacation right here at home. Three nights in Gros Mourne National Park. I guess Gros Mourne isn’t exactly in our backyard as it is an 8-hour drive from St. John’s, but it is still Newfoundland and it is beautiful. The Truth I Discovered About Gratefulness

I am feeling rather grateful and optimistic today. Monday marking the beginning of a beautiful week ahead and the first day of summer! Oh, and the sun is shining! How often does that happen here in Newfoundland? Not often enough let me tell you. But it is today! I wanted to talk a little about gratitude today. The importance of being grateful in life for my health, family and friends were instilled in me from a young age. However, the real truth is… until recently I felt that gratefulness was some sort of obligation. A feeling expressed as…
